From trend to script: a tool that finds outlier YouTube Shorts in a niche and turns their format into an original script.

The problem

Turning Shorts trends into original content takes hours of manual research. The goal: capture a trend's format and angle, then write something of your own — never re-upload someone else's video.

What I built

  • Trend radar: outlier Shorts by niche, via the YouTube Data API
  • Script studio: hook, body and call to action, generated with Gemini
  • Export to .txt and timed .srt subtitles
  • A content calendar and performance analytics

Approach

Supabase handles Google sign-in and Postgres with row-level security. Every pull request gets a preview deploy through GitHub Actions. The whole thing runs on free tiers by design.
